Does anyone know when the rock band for the Wii?
will come out with a different genre of music like for example R and B or country or gospel....or will this never happen only rock and roll

They had announced that no new Rockband this year because they are concentrating on Rockband: Beatles.

Sometime in 2009, Rock Band : Beatles Edition is going to be released.
Other than that, you may see some non-rock songs in the DLC catalog. Country is already being added.

Hard to say, unless Nintendo mirrors what PS3 and Xbox has done with content that can be downloaded. They do have that feature but it's not available for released games as add-on content.Only fro game purchases. It would probably be in the shape of new release game purchased via retail stores. My guess is that they probably won't go that route- they will stick with main stream.

Probably might happen in a few years, but i doubt it....
The music sucks - I wish they made one with todays hit songs..
