You can add fish as soon as all your tests come back normal, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate are the big ones. The tank will cycle for a few weeks so just be patient and when you do not see traces of any of these things it will be okay to add fish. If you get the six in one test strips and the ammonia strips just make sure that all of the tests are normal before adding fish

You gotta focus on the Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. When the ammonia goes up then down the nitrite will go up and down then the nitrate will go up and down. If the nitrate is higher then 20ppm then do a 10% water change. The good bacteria makes your tank look clearer and the ammonia turn into the less toxic nitrite then the less harmless nitrate.

Good thing your doing the fishless cycle. The fish cycle is cruel.

what i would do is go to the store buy a few edder fish for like waht 15 cents each (not too many) let them swim in there for a few days and test it again they should help cylce the tank and make everything fine and if you don't want the feeders anymoire throw them in a stream or somthing.
