how many photo's will a 8gb SD card hold using a 10.2 mega pixel camera?

dont have to be exact, i know different things affect how many.

    Well I see you're getting all kinds of numbers. 8 GB shooting at 10 megapixels, my chart shows about 1536 shots. So figure about 1530.

    According to the chart on the back of the packet my SD card came in you can expect about

    3500 pics or 500 minutes of video or a combination of both.

    An 8 GB card will be an SDHC so I am not sure if that makes any difference...I know SD cards are FAT16 and SDHC are FAT32...someone may know that bit of info...

    All cameras are different, but as a rough guide...with a 10.2MP camera you will be able to shoot approx. 250 high quality jpeg images per 1GB (250x8=2000 images).

    the back of your manual should have a chart

    if need be

    you can multiple by the needed number
