A live snail. But I was 2, so....

I like the dead cooked ones now.

The weirdest thing i may have eaten might be ants and aphids.

So i had a baggy of gummy bears for snack. I was also picking flowers and putting them in the bag. I had forgotten about the flowers while secretly munching on them in class. Later i found out that i had eaten some flowers and ants that were contained inside. They were alive, yes.

It tasted like gummy bears and Eucalyptus leaves. No it did not taste good.

Btw, did you know we all eat about 1 pound of spiders a year when we sleep? (snapple bottle cap. not sure if it's a fact or not.)

I would say Durian fruit, but most people agree that Spam is the weirdest thing I've ever eaten. I grew up on that stuff.

I made a sauce using 90% of everything in the kitchen, there was:

    Worcestershire

    Lemon juice

    lime juice

    soy sauce

    apple vinegar

    hot sauce

    salt

    sugar

    black pepper

    garlic powder

and a couple of herbs too. It was awesome. It had a sensation on the tongue like it was cold, then it got hot, then spicy but a little sweet and tangy and it spread to the sides of your jaws and the roof of your mouth. It basically exploded in your mouth.

    Crocodile jerky.

It tasted like normal jerky. :/

And yes, it was legal, because the crocodiles were bred in a farm.

Edit: Fried squid? That's not odd at all, I eat that all time.

Edit: I've also eaten a barbecue-flavored doggie treat. It tasted quite good, actually.

    Most recently:

Pulpo..octopus (i don't think its weird but hey)

Callos..spanish dish with chorizo and veal (not the weird parts) as well as tripe (stomach) and pigs feet...I've had tripe on numerous occasions but mixing with the pigs feet was a new weird combo.

    It was quite good indeed.

I've eaten more weird things than I care to recall, its like a weekly thing lol.

escargot (snails), frog legs, whole baby octopus, squid (I don't consider that weird though lol), chicken livers (not too weird many diners n delis serve it), gator fritters at RJ Gators in Fla., any type of sushi you can imagine including unagi (sea urchin), calves tongue and brain (italian), list goes on

Barbecued White-throated Woodrat, Neotoma albigula, in the Arizona desert.

It tasted a lot like the barbecue sauce and dark-meat chicken but a little greasier. So cliche, eh? So now you know, chickens taste like woodrat.

A bowl of seafood soup in Chile! It was pink, with lumps of black something & never stopped bubbling, like it was moving the whole time I had it in front of me. THAT was the weirdest & the worst thing I ever ate.

Dog food on a bet for 2 bucks! It's was horrible, as expected. Very gritty because of the ground bone in it.

I also swallowed a live minnow for 2 bucks also. It wiggled as it went down!

    I know, I'm cheap.

Alligator and yes, it did taste good. I was surprised. I've also eaten ostrich, but didn't care for it. Buffalo is good and quail and pheasant. Elk is pretty good and venison is gamey. smoked lamb chops are good the way my husband does them.
