Nip tuck fans, why are they going to skip a week?

This season of nip tuck looks exciting but is a little disapointing so far.. is it just me? I am a die hard fan and am already not looking forward to this being the last season. They have more commercials than ever, and after the second episode in the new season they showed up coming clips but said catch the next episode in 2 WEEKS! We have already waited for so long for the premier, and they are already skipping a week? Is there any certain reason for this? My guess is to drag it out longer but I am not sure. It is really too bad this show is getting cancelled, it is the only show I watch and love on tv! ( they must have ran out of materal)

You know they never ended the last season in feb 08 right? If you look at they're episode line-up it's been season 5 for since October 2007. They played it until Feb 08 and they stopped. They picked up at episode 16 in 09... 

They are being really weird with the way they've been shooting and it is very odd that they would skip a week,  And they showing TWO episodes on one night ending season 5.

FX is pulling the plug on the severely acclaimed drama Nip/Tuck. yet do no longer panic. There are nevertheless extremely some hours of surgical operation and vanity left to air. 8 new episodes — something of the strike-interrupted Season 5 — will hit the air in January 2009. Then, an exceedingly final, 19-episode 6th season will wrap up the sequence in early 2011.

I totally agree! It's my favorite show.  I also agree that it's a little disappointing. they usually have way more stuff going on. I'm used to constantly being shocked. My major shock tonight was christian having sex with liz. lol but I don't know why they're doing that but I'm mad. I was wondering about the commercial thing too. I was like WTH
