i downloaded the pokemon ruby version game from a site
i have the visual boy advance but i dont know how to start a game !!!
can u help please?
when i load the rom,a white screen appears and some percentages start flashing on the title bar and then nothing happens

The rom you're using could simply be bad, or it could be the emulator if you've never used that one before. I always go to either
www.romhustler.net
or
www.romnation.net
For both my roms or my emulators they've never messed up. You could also have downloaded a hacked version which don't always work.

go to the Pokemon Ruby file and right click the mouse and select "open with", then select from the list visual boy. and that shouldwork. if it doesn't, then its a bad rom.

I think you press the reset atleast 5 seconds
and it will work.That's what i do in mine.
