Is it possible to install an OS through an ISO file mounted on a program like Daemon tools?

I just downloaded the ISO for the Windows 7 BETA and I want to install it, but it says you need to burn the ISO file onto a blank

DVD-R (Which I do not have any of) SO I was wondering if I could properly install it using a image mounting program.

Would that work?

    You are heading for trouble.

Windows 7Beta is a beta product ( obviously ) and beta products are for testing purposes only.

you should never install beta products on your main computer unless you are capable of undoing the damage they can and probably will cause to your computer systems.

as you don't even know how to handle an ISO i suggest you abandon your attempts to install a system you will not be able to handle.

take this advice or ignore it.

at the end of the day it is up to you.

☮it will all end in tears and a broken computer and a big repair bill.

Extract the ISO file and run the installer from there. When the computer needs to restart it will find the root directory

    Nope you cannot!

you can if you are installing the OS on a Virtual Machine!
