What can I do to see what people are doing on my home network?

What would I need to use to steath monitor what people are doing on my home network?

I would like to be able to view what is going on from one computer, is tht possible?

    That depends on how everyone is connected, how much control you have over the network, and your level of technical skills.

    A sniffer, like wireshark, would certainly show everything that's going on, but if you're connected to a switch, you'll just see your traffic. If it's wireless, it will either need to be unsecured or using WEP (and you know the key) to sniff/decrypt the traffic. If it's WPA, you're out of luck.

    There are other ways to see what's going to the Internet and back (and even control it) from each machine, but would require some linux skills.
