What's the easiest pet to take care of?
I've been thinking about getting a couple of hermit crabs as pets, but it turns out that they live between 10 and 20 years, that's more than a rabbit! I was expecting them to be easy to take care of but they need heating and lights and stuff like that, so I was wondering what is the easiest pet to take care of, that's also very small, so it can live on a table.
LOL it's not that I'm lazy guys, it;s just that I know I don't have the space or money, plus I'm going to live in a dorm soon lolz
tarantulas scare me eek
the walking stick is a good idea but I wont be able to see it lol
My classroom once had hissing madagascar cockroaches.....
I think I'll grow a plant instead, and wait on getting a rat for a few years, i think theyre cool

Actually most hermit crabs live like a year or two.

In my experience, a Stick Insect is by far one of the easiest pets you can possibly find! Not all species are drab brown and "stick-like", the species I have at the moment are called Peruphasma Schultei and look like this:

They require no heating, they live for about a year, and they eat Privet leaves and require a light spraying of water every day (how easy is that? :D). Some species (like my Peruphasma Schultei) are very active; they love to scuttle around! They don't just sit around the enclosure all day.

Well first in reply to the pet rock LMAO
As far as easiest I would say a lizard all you have to do is give it bugs and watch it grow. They are also usually pretty cheap. Good luck.

You could get termites, no need to worry about them living on a table, they can live inside the table. No feeding either but they breed like crazy.

Wow. And I thought that I was lazy with my goldfish. Maybe you should grow a plant instead.

a beta fish is easiest...cuz i have had mine for like, 3 years because they like never die and i only know a few people that can keep a gold fish alive, and only one person who has ever killed a beta fish and if you dont want a fish then try a hamster or something. good luck!
