Can this be considered harassment?

My friend has received this message from one of her co-workers:

“I’m here for you. If you don’t shoot recreationally, some of these things are hard to understand.”

can this be considered harassment? “I’m here for you…”

Well only if while he was giving the message he was touching her or making obscene movements or gestures in a very sexual or violent manner, and maybe if he was stabbing her at the same moment but since she is alive still , I would say no, no harassment at all.

No. Harassment is more like "If you don't go out with me I will try to get you fired."

It's not considered harassment if someone says "I'm here for you" or even if they ask a co-worker for a date. It has to be more of a quid pro quo (this for that) situation... like "I will give you a raise if you rub my shoulders."

No its just being friendly now maybe if the co-worker said im here for you and i want you real bad then yea but that there is no harrasment.

Maybe, but that should solve between your friend and the co-worker first, don't go to cop just for this.

No, your going to need more than that to get somebody for harassment!

That is weird and creepy. They should take that paper or email to thheir local police department and so what can be done.

    no:

    1. has to be a pattern (more than one event)

    2. has to articulate an unambiguous threat

    3. has to be unreasonable

    How is that considered harassment.

I don't think 'I'm here for you' is considered harassment it not sexual, threatening nor is it abusive.
