Baha'is, Satanists, Pastafarians, occultists etc..have any good websites?
I'm the new writer for alternative religion at http://altreligion.about.com,/ and I'm looking for good online resources for a variety of religions. In particular, I'm looking for resources on symbols in various non-mainstream religions. I'd appreciate any recommendations.
I do *not* need neopagan resources. There is another writer who covers that topic, sorry.

For the Bahá'í Faith, see http://www.bahai.org/ and for Eckankar, it's http://www.eckankar.org/ . Information on the Swedenborgian Church is at http://www.swedenborg.org/ and the Rosicrucian Fellowship is at http://www.rosicrucian.com/ . Those are four groups that don't get covered as much as some of the more major religions and/or denominations. Go to http://www.churchofsatan.com/ for LaVeyan Satanism, and to http://www.scientology.org/ for the official Scientology website. The Church of the SubGenius is here: http://www.subgenius.com/ and the Unarius Academy of Science is at http://www.unarius.org/ . You can get some information on the Doukhobors at http://www.iskra.ca/index.htm . Some of these are official sites, and are a good starting place, but certainly not the only resources you'll want to examine.
I don't have much on symbology, but if you're looking for pictures of symbols or a list of some of them, the U.S. military has an official list of religious emblems they'll put on the tombstones of veterans. Scroll down and see if there are any you haven't encountered yet:

These are about women who believe in a Goddess and try to see the world through a loving manner. No men allowed.
Another religion worth questioning is something called "Brakka mamis" I am not sure of the spelling, but the higher up ones follow a teaching based on the highest yoga practice, meditation a yoga of mind. the highest up are vegans and don't eat onion and garlic. It stems from India and is quite interesting.
I would like to know what you find. Thanks.

Pastafarians aren't actually religious people. This is why people hate the media, because they don't understand what they write/report about. :P
