Which is better, one muscle group a day only once a week, or two muscle groups a day twice a week. Which one will help me gain strength faster?

examples of common work schedule.. you can vary it and you should vary it every 4 weeks
mon- Back and biceps
Tue- Chest and triceps
Wed- Legs (only one muscle group because by the time you do quads, and hamstrings with calves, you should be whipped)
Thurs- Shoulders, traps
Friday - Off
Sat- Back and biceps
Sun- Chest and triceps
Mon- Legs
Tue- shoulders traps
wed- off
Thur- off
Fri- Chest and triceps
Sat- etc etc etc etc
