Is the U.S. "backing the right horse" in the middle east?
The Israelis have killed thousands of women and children in the small remnants of Palestine. Looking at a map it looks like they are doing to the surviving Palestinians what we did to the American Indians (only this time we're providing the weapons for them).
Do you think this is the correct course for our country to take or should we take care of the non-Israeli victims.

I don't think that the US should be backing any horses in the middle east. I believe that the US, along with the UN or other countries that can, should be providing the people on both sides of the conflict with non-military help and aid, and encourage both sides to come to a peace agreement. This thing has been going on for way too long now, and instead of arguing over who should be living in a certain area, we should all be trying to help the people in that area to live. I don't care how many rockets the Israelis launched, or how Hamas started it by launching those rockets at Israel. The real issue here is the problems caused when those rockets hit, and that is what we should be focused on, not the conflict itself, but the people who are suffering because of the conflict.

There aren't any remanents of Palestine because there has never been an area owned by Palestinians. But as far as which horse to back, we're better off backing a democratic state that provides equal rights to all of its citizens, no matter their faith, versus a terrorist state that believes in genocide.

Well if Hamas wasn't hiding behind citizens this would be done now. They're just cowards, and unfortunately their citizens are the ones paying. Besides we should continue backing Israel. They're the only "true" allie we have in the middle east.
