Is it okay to throw away used batteries in the trash?

Are they recyleable? (sp)

Seems like it would be bad to have them in a garbage dump.

    of course you should recycle them, there are many places where you can take them to. look up environmental or recycling companies in your local area

    yes,of course as long as they aren't but in there with like gas!
