I am trying to bond wood please help me!?

Right now i have 2 "picture frames" one is smaller than the other and fits perfectly inside the first one at a 90 degree angle. So while the first picture frame is flat on the floor the other one is sideways. im trying to bond only 2 corners of the smaller picture frame to the larger picture frame. im trying to use glue, but lets just say that's not making me very happy, AT ALL! What are some ideas to bond the two pieces of wood together with absolutely nothing showing. NOTE: only about 3cm's of wood are touching at one time in the corner. PLEASE HELP

Clean off all the glue that you've used & get some 1 minute or 3 minute epoxy.

Lay a plastic trash bag on your kitchen counter or table, place your picture frames on the plastic bag, mix up your glue & do your gluing.

Even though you are working with fast set epoxy, let it cure for at least an hour.

Carefully peel off the plastic bag & inspect your joints. If they look like they need to be strengthened, mix up & add some more glue.

Once you're satisfied with your joints, use a utility knife or Xacto knife to trim off any errant glue.

    Good luck...

all the suggestions for different glues are great. your problem is you do not have enough contact surface for the glue to bond to. cut two small trianglar gussets out of a simialar type of wood and fit them into the corner joints to add strengh then glue the frames and the gussets together.

Gorilla Glue or wood glue should work but you do have to let it set 24 hrs to dry. Make sure you clamp them in place until it dries. Gorilla Glue make sure you follow the instructions on the bottle.

PVA Glue is the best answer, that is what all furniture manufacturers use .It's white when wet but dries totally clear when dry and perfect for what you want to use it for.....

In Australia it's called aquadhere or just PVA but not sure what it is called over there, your hardware store will let you know.

Can you use small finishing nails? Once you sink them below the wood, they wouldn't show. If there's a tiny hole visible, cover it with a similar colored putty.
