windows vista and windows mail?
I got a new laptop with windows vista and windows mail. I can receive email but cannot send it. I get an error message. I tried all kinds of changes in the settings and nothing works.

Make sure your outgoing mail is smtp
One time I had it as stmp and it no workee.
Should read something like this smtp.xxxx.qqqq.com

Your smtp server has to be specified in the mail setup. Get your ISP on the phone to find what it is. Too often the smtp/pop servers found in a google search are wrong.
