Stephanie Meyer wrote another book, The Host, which is her new series. It involves aliens and is more science fiction, but the central theme is also love. I haven't read it, though.

Any book by Anne Rice is a very decent vampire book, super classic.

The Southern Vampire Series (the TV show True Blood is based on this) is a lot like Twilight, but racier and sexier. You'll get the love and relationships and drama and stuff that I'm sure you'll like, though. And it's a series, so you'll have plenty to read!

Dracula by Bram Stoker is another love/vampire.

Those are all great, and should give you plenty of reading!!

Check out the source link below for an entire website of only vampire books, if you want more. Most vampire books involve love stories, as vampires are typically treated a sexy beings in literature.

If you're just looking for great love stories in general though, there are so many! The second source link will take you to a list of the top ten love stories. I also suggest anything by Jane Austen. She's phenomenal, and will give you the grand love story you're looking for--and Bella in Twilight loves to read Jane Austen!

    Happy reading!

Totally agree with Serena B. The Vampire Academy series is awesome and so were the Blue Blood books (Melissa de la Cruz). I took a while to start reading the Blue Blood series but once I got started, the storyline is great! Just read the third book, and it was amazing. But if you want to read about forbidden love with the same passion as Twilight, the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead are the way to go.

    *Happy Reading*!

Im reading Twilight, have watched the movie and I still think "Night World" by L.J Smith is better... but it's probably because I havent read the whole series. Give Night World a go and I'll give Twilight a go too! :P

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld is good too.

    Ditto:

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Klause Curtis

    Mediator by Meg Cabot

Daughters of the Moon by Lynne Ewing

You need to Read the Vampire Academy Series if you loved Twilight. I also suggest all of L.J. Smith's books, they are great! I also recomend the Blue Bloods series,Southern vampire series(charlaine harris, are a bit mature..), House of night series(have read all but are becoming boring),and also the 'wicked' series by Nancy Holder(the last one comes out in like july!!) Email me for more!

Marjorie M. Liu has several series which tackle the whole supernatural being falling in love with a human women theme. see link.

    They are also better written.
