Can a married person in Arizona buy property as his sole and separate property?

My aunt is planning to purchase a condo with inherited funds. A real estate agent here told her she must put her husband on it. I don't think she does and I'm having a tough time finding the information with the Department of Real Estate. Thanks for the help!
