Why in surveys do ....?

the askers still use a color for European-Americans but for no other race? Example:

Africian-American

Asian-American

Native-American

White

Other

    We, as a race, tend to not be as touchy about PC labels.

    Possibly because the commonly used term "Caucasian" really refers to the Caucausus region of Eastern Europe, but few Americans can really trace their ancestry there. It would be the same as having "Nigerian" and "Chinese" as options instead of "African-American" and "Asian-American."

    So, why not European-American? Maybe some white people would get confused. "I ain't no European! I'm American!"

    ask yourself which of those groups came up with the whole classifying people by color and the reasons why they did so and there's your answer.
