FIrst make sure its the right disk you want the Operating System Disk not anything else. Or System Recovery Disk thats another name they use. Now put it in the drive and restart your computer depending on the way its set up it should just start and you select the options to format the drive then reinstall the OS. It might also ask you to select how to boot you want from the disk drive.

no dont load the disk IN windows, have the disk in the PC when it starts and boot to the disk not windows.

i think of that is stable in aspects, yet once you quite desire it to be like the Lord's Prayer for computing, you need to pay greater interest to creating the words from each greater homonymous (sounding comparable). i like 'lead us no longer into fragmentation' plenty :-)

Is it Windows XP or Vista?

If its XP, you need a fresh reinstall, not just a format.

    Start

    F10
