It doesn't compare...It doesn't even compare to the man he worked so hard to replace...Sad, because I have been looking for something....anything...of substance to actually inspire me ...

I supported McCain in '00 and was "iffy" about my support for Bush...but he won me over with his first Inaugural Address.

I doubt anyone will remember, but he spoke about how it was time for Americans to become "citizens" again, outlining his vision of the American people as "Citizens...not Spectators."

I thought it described perfectly the Change needed from an America that had become superficial, materialistic and self-indulgent in the false security of a "Soviet-Free" world..

Ironic that W's speech was far more focused, far more controlled than the man replacing him. But as always...we have yet to see where that will all lead.

You cannot compare Obama to Reagan. Its like comparing McDonalds to Outback.

There is no comparison. Obama's speech inspired no one except for the party of never ending grievances and the race baiters who don't seem to understand that hey, your guy won!

I wouldn't insult Obama by comparing him to a drooling voodoo economist.
