I heard President Obama say that today in his speech, however I know I have read or heard that quote before.

Anyone know who first said it?

    I doubted it was Scripture, since the Lewis Carroll line kept popping into my head. It is not a direct Scriptural quote, but a paraphrase or variation of 1 Corinthians 13:11. The quotes accuracy varies depending on the Bible translation used.

    I doubted it became Scripture, because of the fact the Lewis Carroll line saved popping into my head. it is not a right away Scriptural quote, yet a paraphrase or version of a million Corinthians 13:11. The costs accuracy varies reckoning on the Bible translation used.
