I don't think he would have become the 1st black president, only because I don't think that was his calling. He completed his calling, he did exactly what he came to this earth to do.

He was the forerunner to this great moment in time. It's just like John the Baptist, he was born, not to be the Messiah, but to be the forerunner to the Messiah, He shed, his blood and paved the way for someone else. What Martin Luther King Jr. did was beyond words, and truly profound, but being the 1st black Pres, wasn't his calling, and he knew that. He knew what his calling was and he fulfilled it.

Great question though!

If he hadn't existed in his own time, we wouldn't have what we do have today. He was exactly what he was, a great leader who enabled a fair and equitable future. We can only continue his fight for a post-racial society.

He would have been a much better choice compared to what we have now.

He preached equality for ALL, and wasn't corrupted by the political machine. He was also a REAL preacher, unlike certain others that hit you up for $$$. What you seen was what you got, no BS just straight up.

He would have been the best choice, but then again no.. obama is better.
