Who knows if the Cardinals still would have won without him :P
He kept on fighting no matter what!

surely Fitzgerald. Sidney Rice had an astounding twelve months and that i do think of that he's respectable, yet Larry Fitzgerald has shown that he's an elite wideout. Rice could have greater long distance velocity than Fitz, yet he's no longer as actual and isn't any longer somewhat as good at in simple terms going up and beating a DB for a bypass.

No, it's way to early in his career to call his the best EVER. I've watched him play at Pitt and I knew that he would make a mark in the NFL. I agree with the majority of the people here that Jerry Rice is probably the best. TO and Randy Moss both have better stats people may not like them personally but you do have to give them their due. Steve Smith, Hines Ward, Marvin Harrison have had impressive numbers. Some of the older players who are worth mentioning :
Art Monk
Lynn Swan
Charlie Taylor
Cris Carter
Steve Largent
Paul Warfield
To name a few.

He is amazing, but to say the best ever is premature. By the time his career is over he will be in the top twenty or top ten if not higher. Jerry Rice would top my list for all time, but there are so many others that were just as talented. He made Joe Montana look good. That is what great wide receivers and running backs do.

He is an amazing player, he already has the most receiving yards in the playoffs and still has the superbowl left. He also makes amazing catches when the cardinals need him but i wouldn't say he is the best of all time

Ugh.
I knew this question would come up eventually.
Obviously, since he's had 3 good games in a row, he's the BEST EVER. Like no one else has ever had three good games in a row, like no one else has ever made a bunch of good catches, like no one else has ever even played.
Wasn't Darren Sproles the best running back ever just two weeks ago? Doesn't anyone have an attention span anymore?
Source(s): He's good, he's amazing, he's not the best ever yet. Three weeks of highlights doesn't cancel out 70 years of previous great receivers. - M. DiegoLv 71 decade ago
How long have you watched football?
Because I don't think you ever heard about a guy named Don Hutson and another guy named Jerry Rice.

amazing yes, but he has to do this every year for the next 14 years to match Jerry Rice.

No he is tall and has good hands. If you actually watch him play, around 80% of his catches are high and within 10 yards. All he does is go 2 yards downfield and cuts. There is no way to defend that on man coverage. His only deep catch against the Eagles was on a trick play. Also against the Falcons, it was on a trick play. Coincidence? No way. There is no way to defnd slants everytime. So no he isn't the best; he is good though.

He needs to have more than one great season to be even considered for this question.
Until then, no....Jerry Rice is the man.

Hes had a really good carrer so far. If he had a better quaterback he would be better than randy moss. When he gets traded he will be amazing if he gats a good quaterback he will lead all the record books
