Give an example equation that has a hole?

I need a basic equation (nothing too long or fancy but if you must then go ahead) that has holes on the graph. This is for use with integrands (area under the curve). Thank you.

    y=1/(x+2)

    hole at x=-2

    y=1/x there is a hole at x=0
