First of all, Jesus had short hair. It's shameful for a man to have long hair. 1st Corinthians 11:14.

Second, Jesus looked like a Middle Easterner - black hair, dark brown or black eyes, and dark skin. He was not Caucasian with light brown hair and blue eyes. And if you go to a black church, you'll see a black Jesus. If every Christian is worshiping the same Jesus, shouldn't he be portrayed as he actually appeared?

"For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground; He hath no form nor comliness; and when we shall see Him there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid as it were our faces from Him He was despised and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem Him stricken smitten by God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions He was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes are we healed. Described by Isaiah 53 2-5

I believe he was a man of pure heart who tried to show the way of love without violence or fear, unfortunately those in power at the time felt threatened by him because of his popularity and had him killed in a very barbaric way which only added fuel to the fire so to speak, the really sad thing is how people symbolize him the way he is being tortured, nailed to a cross.

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    The Great "I AM"....

Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

    The bread of life.....

Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

    Love.....

1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

I believe he was real, but defiantly not in a "Christian" way.

I believe he was a very charismatic carpenter who forever changed the world with his preachings for better of for worse.

Jesus is the light that became dark to save darkness. He is life that became death to defeat death. He is love that became hatred to save his beloveds from eternal condemnation. He is my everything!

I think he was a central figure in a movement that set out to end the oppressive, ridiculous dogma set up by the old testament. I think all the deity stuff was added much after his death.
