Huckleberry Finn..need help with themes?
I need a few examples for the theme: Freedom means different things to different people and/or constant struggle between slavery and freedom.
I need examples from the book. If you tell me what chapter you found it in, that would be great. thank you

when i wrote about this i said how when jim and huck were goin down the mississippi river it was metaphorically associated with the civil war being the path towards freedom just like the path towards freedom for jim was the river... i dunno if that would help and sorry i forgot which chapter, i know it is the one when they are looking for that city cairo on the river

I suggest reading the book. If you can't figure out the struggle between slavery and freedom in "Huckleberry Finn," you haven't read it.
Check out Jim. He's the black character in the story.
