I live alone, how can I tell if my bruxism has stopped?
My teeth are so damaged and worn that I wouldn't be able to tell by them. I think that it may have lessened but have no way of knowing.

The above answerer does not know what they are talking about, there are a few ways, ifyou wake up in the morning and you no longer feel your muscles of your face tired or your teeth sore, then you know you stopped, you need to get a plate made at the dentist to help you stop, you cant do it on your own, stress is a major reason to grind/brux. You can also audio tape yourself with a tape recorder to hear the grinding, or just get a mate to sleep over.

Wouldn't your dentist be able to make the comparison between visits to see if more or less damage occurred? There is no way of knowing by asking anyone on this board!
