we have dvd and cd from syria, and some are compressed. ?
How do we get these to work on regular players. One or two of the cd's work on the computer but none of the DVDs. Help please ! ! !

You need to convert the mp3 into audio extension so you can play it on a regular player.
And as for the DVDs i guess it's your DVD player in your computer, some players can read specific types of DVDs like plus or minus so you may want to check that out.
