Could be any of a million things. Run it and dont worry about it unless it starts happening often.

Ahh the dreaded blue screen of death. It seems to strike at the most inopportune times doesn’t it? When you get the Windows blue screen it typically means you are having a problem in your registry. When your computer has trouble communication information between software, hardware, and drivers it will crash. The best way to fix this problem is to scan your registry for errors which are causing the communication issues.
You can scan your computer for free at http://www.registry-clean-up.net/windows-blue-scre...

if it is brand new then it is probably a manufacturing issue but if not you may have a virus or a trojan horse wich is what caused my last laptop to get the blue screen of death. Hmm just run a virus scan first off if it doesnt find a virus then call the store where you baught it and tell them what happend they might just replace it.
hope this helped

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info/
