I understand that a 2007 sentra should be getting about 24 MPG in the city (from fueleconomy.org)

HOWEVER, much to my sadness it appears that my car is only getting a measly 15-17 MPG.

This is sort of upsetting to me because I bought this car only a few months ago expecting to save $$ on gas.

I can change the air filter but will that really help drastically?

What about the stuff they sell in autozone that you put in your tank that supposedly helps fuel economy?

Also, would inflating my tires help (They look a drop on the deflated side)

How can that be possible??

Are they really the ones pulling his strings?

I would never buy the iphone bc i dont have sprint, but i wold really like the new ipod!

This happened twice already, so im a little perturbed

Basically as i was standing up, i noticed that my ears felt really really stuffed up, and when i tried talking my voice sounded kind of muffled... this sensation went away both times after like two or three minutes, but i dont whats causing it so im nervous!

I have noticed that lately my ears have been extremely itchy deep inside, and really waxy, but i dont know if it has anything to do with the fact that i couldn't hear so well after i stood up

any ideas as to what this could be?

i thought only gorgous/perfect people get famous

Here's my idea.

I think that our elected officials should get paid as much as an average american worker gets paid, and here's why:

They claim to be a "representing the people," and lately they hav'nt been doing so well (ex. governor rod blagovich)

So i think that elected officials should get paid as much as the average worker, lets say around 50 grand a year, plus health insurance

After all, they make plenty of money through bribes anyways (ex. governors rod blagoivetich, and george ryan who sold liscenses, and is now sitting in prison)

This way we'll kow that only people who are really devoted to serving our country will run for election.

And its not as though they do so much more work than the average person either, which makes their salaries sort of unfair

Are they good value for the money? I'm thinking of buying a laptop, and i'm looking for a good brand, thats not too expensive

I keep hearing these crazy things on the news about unionized workers, but i wanna hear from someone who really knows the TRUTH (an actual worker pherhaps)

Whats it like tobe part of a union? HOw much do you REALLY get paid? what kind of labor do you do?

I was speaking to someone at work, who told me that if the government bails out GM, she will NEVER buy another american made car...She feels that the united states is bailing out these dreadful unions, and not the companies themselves...after all, the unions broiught down the companies with their insane demands...

I thought she was crazy until i over heard more people saying the very same thing!

So what do ya'll think? will you stop buying american cars if this bailout goes through?

If anything, wouldn't that be better for economy?? because then people would start sepending again because things will be cheaper!

they were both in it, and they did'nt really look alike...

People have been saying that bailing out the automakers is like bailing out the unions. I know that its the unions that have been driving these companies to the ground by getting these companies to pay semi-skilled workers insane wages, but why cant these companies just fire all unionized workers and replace them all with new employees that will take 15-20 dollars an hour?? beleive me, with the economy heading into a recession, and unemployment skyrocketing, those jobs will be grabbed. Why must we feel enslaved to these unions?

(on the radio i heard that semi-skilled workers are making on average nearly 70 dollars an hour including benifits!!)

why would it be SO bad to declare chapter eleven, train in a slew of new workers, and NOT have to depent on government bailouts? (fyi declaring chapter 11 will not stop day-today operations wthin the company)
