Typically, a migraine is associated with a severe debilitating pain and associated nausea when exposed to loud noises, fast motion, or bright lights. The best remedy is a dose of migraine headache medicine (or ibuprofin), caffeine (such as no-doze or vivarin), and a cool washcloth on your eyes in a dark quiet room for about 30 minutes. The caffeine will help expand capilaries and improve oxygen deposition and utilization.

It is also possible that you have a fluid buildup in your inner ear or an ear infection. If these symptoms persist for more than a couple days or if your ears begin to feel hot or you run a fever, especially in the evenings, seek medical attention right away.

It is most likely a migraine if there is pain toward lights sounds and possible motion sickness. However, it could just be a simple headache and since you are getting over a flu/cold, it could be sinuses/sinus headache. Also be wary of possible earaches. You might want to try and clean them out. May also be water trapped inside.

If the pain continues or worsens you may want to look it up or consult a doctor. I also would like to let you know that sometimes reading information about possible sicknesses can cause you to subconsciously mentally cause symptoms of diseases, although not always. My granny experiences this whenever she reads the back of a prescription, she gets all the symptoms and after effects, but only after she reads about it.

It could be a migraine. But if it is a prolonging sensation (for more than a couple of days) go to www.webmd.com and go to the symptom checker and put in your information. It really helps. :)
