If i knew the Company would survive & be ok again in due time i will say Wage Freeze. If the signs are the Company is going to die soon I'm going to say Layoff.

Certainly it would depend on ones situation. For me, I would take the lay off. I hate being a part of a slow death of a company. Wage freeze is always the first step in the demise of any company. It is always followed by layoffs and eventually closings. I would rather take what money is owed to me and move forward into new ventures with endless possibilities.

Bad economy or not, I will always find a way to better my situation. I always have.

I've been "Layed off" so a wage freeze would have been more attractive from the start.

I'm on a wage freeze right now. Obama and his crew aren't the only ones. Unfortunately I don't make $100,000. per year. So I guess it will affect me more than them as prices continue to go up I'll be dipping into what little savings I have just to live. Of course I expect the government to take over my savings any day now. Then I will slowly but surely become one of the poor.

I guess it depends of if you are the employee or the employer but as an employee i would say a wage freeze for sure.

Wage freeze of course - better to have a job that won't grow, than to have none at all.

Wage freeze...at least I'd still have a steady income.
