is there a reason why every breed of dog has got soft {silky to the touch} ears?

    Because dogs ears are all cartilage.

    Dog ears are made of cartilage. Regardless of what length or texture of fur they have, they are always smooth. Just part of being a dog. :)

    because the hair is fine and its shorter and it makes it soft. plus the ears are cartilage.
