    This has come through on UK site, so will answer for there.

    Nothing. This relief was abolished years ago, and tax child credits brought in instead. You have to make a separate claim for them, doesn't go on Tax Return.

    it depends on many factors....there is not a set amount of refund...the personal and dependent exemption 3500 each but that amount simply reduces the amount of your income which is subject to tax

    There is no set amount. It depends upon your income.

    It can be from zero to a couple of thousand dollars.
