Itunes Help. urgent!?

I just had my hard drive erased and have reloaded a lot of songs from my previous itunes library onto my new itunes. Whenever I right click on a song and click get info to edit something like the album or artist, I can only change it once and if I try to do it again later, the boxes are gray and won't allow me to change it unless i restart my computer. So I can only make one change to a song each time I restart my computer. Is there anyway to change this? 10 Pts. to the best answer.

Since you haven't received any answers, I'll give a try at this unusual problem.

I'd first delete all of the files from inside of iTunes being CERTAIN your do you choose Keep File and do NOT CHOOSE Delete File (sorry for the yelling, but I want the files deleted from the iTunes library without you deleting you music).

Next, select all of the files and drop them in iTunes again to make sure they are all added. Then choose File, Library, Consolidate Library to make sure all of the files are below the same folder.

This should rid your library of old files that may be confusing iTunes, and resolve file permission problems (in the unlikely case that's the problem).

on the final of the show screen the place it says record, Edit, Controls, View, shop and so on. click shop, then Authorize laptop from the drop down menu. it quite is going to ask you to put in your Apple identity and password. bear in mind you may in basic terms authorize 5 computers entire.
