How do you add special characters or symbols to an email? ?

Stars, hearts, degree symbol, etc

    Using the Character Map.

    Select the start menu,All Programs,Accessories,System Tools.

    There you should see the character map.Simply select the characters you need,copy and paste into the email.

    It did not work on Yahoo Mail. It shows the character in CAPS.
