Help sending zip file?

I have a folder zipped, but I can't seem to send it as one file. It wants me to send each file in the folder individually. Can anyone help? Thanks so much if you can!

Update:

I'm trying to send it through email. Inside the zipped folder is a folder with a powerpoint in it, and there are the single files I used to put in the powerpoint - a sound file and a couple of photos.

If you are able to zip the folder into a single file then you should be able to attach the single zipped file. It might be causing you a problem if you are trying to email the folder while you are in the zip application.

Does the folder contain numerous subfolders? If not, why not just add all the contents of the master folder into a single archive and then send that?

Did you do it correctly? Also, how are you trying to send it.
