... it sounded kind of like Deep Blue Something's "Breakfast At Tiffany's". I can't find any info on this excellent old series. Help!

    Polaris sang the theme "Hey Sandy".

    I loved that show.

    Yep, Hey Sandy is the theme song and it's by the indie rock band, Polaris.
