Lost Windows Vista Home Premiumum Product Key?
I have a Dell Dimensions C521 and i want to do a Re-install of Vista but my Product key has been ripped off the box and is now unreadable is there any way to find out my product key with out ringing Microsoft And What do i type into the CMD Window in the vista recovery options to get it to restore the factory Default by the way there IS a recovery partition thanks

You need Keyfinder
It will extract the current installation key from the registry
Just download it (free) and run it.

Start>Control Panel>System.
Scroll to the bottom of this screen and look for the title that's says:"Windows Activation"
Under that heading,...you will see you're 20 digit Activation Number.
If you want to buy another Activation Code,click on the link with the Security Shield and the text next to it that says:"Change Product Key" and it will take you to the web to purchase a new one.

try restarting your computer and keep pressing f10 until it takes you to restore mode
