Can I please have some help with vectors?
A vector has initial point (3,1,6) and terminal point (-2,1,-8).
a) Write the vector in component form
b) Find the magnitude of the vector
c) Find the unit vector in the direction of the vector
d) Find the unit vector in the direction opposite that of the vector.
Thanks so much!

a) (-2,1,-8)-(3,1,6)=(-5,0,-14)
b)magnitude=sqrt(x^2+y^2+z^2)=sqrt(25+0+196)=14.86606875
c)unit vector=vector/magnitude of vector=(-5,0,-14)/14.86606875
=(-0.336336,0,-0.94174)
d)=(0.33336,0,0.94174)

put the start & finish points as column vectors(damn!!! i can't show this here as YA does not support math fonts) and subtract them to get the vector which(must be in column form) ( -5 0 -14 )
magnitude= [(-5)^2+(0)^2+(-14)^2]^0.5=14.86606875
unit vector (1/14.86606875)( -5 0 -14)
opposite (1/14.86606875)( 5 0 14)
