Yahoo Mail POP with Outlook 2003?
I have Yahoo Mail Plus and tried to add my Yahoo account to Outlook. My Inbox seems to have downloaded on to Outlook successfully, but when I try to send any email, I get an error message in Outlook saying:
'Task 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 553 From: address not verified; '
I followed Yahoo's instructions exactly on how to 'POP my mail'.
Any ideas how to resolve this (I have Vista)?

I also have this problem, i too am on vista with outlook 2003. As i have an .co.uk yahoo account i have had to set up email forwarding on yahoo. on the mail page click on options and then pop3 accounts and then add the external email account. Other than that i think you will just have to upgrade!

I genuinely have been having an identical subject for the final 2 days besides. in case you run this question via Google, you will see many persons are having an identical project, so ti could be some thing going on @ Yahoo. i'm a top rate person and use the Plus settings. I genuinely have rechecked my settings, re-entered the password, all to no avail. i attempted the default settings of one hundred ten/25 and on an identical time because it logged into the POP3 server in basic terms fantastic, i replaced into no longer able to efficiently deliver e mail while using the try Account Settings function. (widely used, my firewall is obstructing outbound 25) After 2-3 minutes of waiting for it to technique, i ended it and clicked the SSL button, which replaced it to 995/465. This time it failed in under 30 seconds. I then replaced the SMTP port to 587 and it worked. For now. i'm going to shop you published.
