If one of them had to go, it'd be T-mac because he's older, physically and mentally weaker, and has less upside than Yao. If he does indeed go then the Rockets get $20million off the books to sign a high quality wing to play alongside Yao.

id bring yao back because theres not many big men left int he league. t mac is too hurt unless he takes a good pay cut. alot of centers are not good in the league these days its more small ball ever since the warriors and suns did it. but u get a big guy like yao a good defender like artest and sign a guy who is not injured all the time u can win.

Rockets have enough money to sign both. But if they have to let someone go its t-mac. Yao is just too good.

I would let both go

Tracy was a much better player prior to being teamed with Yao, and Yao simply missed too many games also he doesn't rebound well for a center.

t-mac's health is really a factor in this. although yao isnt the dominate center needed to bring a championship to the rockets, he is the icon of that team. maybe leave both and sign LBJ23 the year after.

I would pick Yao to stay cause t-mac is troubling

let both go. T-Mac doesnt even play, always injured so no loss there. Yao barely plays any more, and with his height and pounding on his knees, he will start to regress soon. try and get d-wade or chris bosh ofter 2010, or try and get carloos Boozer after this sseason

T-mac is done. He is constantly injured and isn't producing now. Let him go.

Depends what type of mindset you have. If you just want to win, bring back T-Mac. If you want good marketing, bring back Yao.
