What is the show True Blood about and is the series good.?
I am a vampire lover, I love watching vampire movies and tv shows, so I want to know if True Blood is worth watching.

It is ssssssssssooooooooo worth it!
True Blood is based on the "Southern Vampire" book series by Charlaine Harris. Vampires have "come out of the closet" and have made themselves known to the world. The series is about how vampires and humans interact. More specifically, Sookie Stackhouse (a human with telepathic abilities) and Bill (cute vampire who moved in next door).
Watch the series or read the books. You won't be dissappointed with either.

It's pretty good. The books are better (but aren't they always). I've just started watching the show and it's well done. The music score is incredible, the directing is edgy and season 1 was about 70% true to the book - which is actually pretty good.
If you are going to watch it though, you'll want to watch in order. Wait until they are released on DVD and watch them in the order they were meant to be seen. Season 1 is based on Book 1 - so it really only makes sense if watched in order.
