Mystic Symbols, Esoteric Tattoo Designs... ?

My sister is buying me a tattoo for my 26 birthday, and Im looking for some good designs. I am thinking of getting the "Tree of Life" but I will look into all different kinds Esoteric symbols.

Does anybody know of some good Rosicrucian, Masonic, Egyptian or Occult Esoteric Symbols? please send me some good ideas, descriptions and if possible, some links to picture galleries.

Thanks in advance

The tree of Life is nice but large if you want to see detail. The all seeing eye, the symbol for infinity, or the interlaced triangles might be something to consider. My oldest daughter has the all seeing eye on the back of her neck. Her hair is long so she can put it up when she wants to show it off & leave her hair down for work. I will come back & add some links for pictures in a bit.

    Blessings!

I say do something that is meaningful to you. My bf has some very cool tatts. On one arm he has a lion (we're both Leos) a rose (that's me!) and it's framed by very cool celtic artwork. The other arm has a karma sign and an AA symbol, again framed by cool graphics. It's like the symbols are embedded in a work of art - absolutely beautiful!

If I ever got a tattoo, I'd probably do either a karma sign or a ying yang to remind me of balance, or an Om sign to remind me of God. You can look up any symbol and get great ideas at www.photobucket.com

So, what are you passionate enough about to want to permanently burn it onto your being? It should be something good... you'll have to post a pic with the question: "spiritually speaking; what do you think of this tatt?" lol!! :-D

There's the symbol ofr infinity which can be seen as a snake swallowing it's tail, or an eight on it's side. If you image search it you might get some ideas.

You can look at some alchemical symbols; you might like some of those, and they're used in Rosicrucianism occasionally.

I personally think the Utchat eye (or eye of Horus) is a really awesome symbol.
