How many photos a day do you take?

1.How many photos a day do you take? Some days over 500 when I'm doing a high volume assignment, other days only a few.

2.How many are good? Again, it depends upon the type of assignment, in high volume I would hope almost all are good, in a model shoot or product shoot, while all are technically good only a few would be used. Hobby shots I cull even fewer as competition quality.

3.Is it for work or hobby? Both.

4.Do you think you will get better than you are now? I always strive to improve.

5 Do you work in photography? Yes.

6. Would you like to work in photography? I wish for nothing else.

1. Depends. If I am shooting at one location, then about 200-300 in about 3 hours. If I am travelling or sightseeing, then about 600 in a day. On many days, none.

4. Of course, I am not very good at all. I hope I can get there some day. I wish I could only take 50 pics a day and 40 turn out to be very good. Or better still, to take 500 and 400 good ones turn out.

Photography begins with seeing in a special way. So, some days I shoot none, some days a few and some days a lot. I try to make them all good but "tweak" in Photoshop. At one time it was newspaper (school district) photography but mainly it is for myself. Everyone can improve by looking at books and trying different settings, angles etc.At present I do some photo restoration for a gallery when someone brings the owner a photo with scratches, tonal problems etc. Mainly though I take landscapes, family and travel pictures.

2. About every 1 in 20 is actually a good image, but I am very biased depending on subject matter.
