Having trouble syncing songs to ipod. Help please!!!!?

usually when i go to itunes it has an icon with that looks like an ipod and i click on that and then sync the songs that way. but now i don't see that icon anywhere and i don't know what to do. the icon is suppose to be there but its not now what do i do?

    reset your ipod unplug it from computer and press menu and the center buttons at the same time until the apple appears

    so your computer is not recognizing your ipod? that happened with 2 of my ipods. try resetting/reprogramming your ipod. if it doesn't work you can take it to best buy or apple. best buy reprogrammed my ipod touch and i haven't had any problems since.

    sounds like your ipod isn't connecting properly or your computer's usb isn't working. try another usb or another computer to see if that's the problem. if it works on another computer then it's your computer's usb port. if it doesn't work on another then it may be your ipod cord,

    smash ur ipod and say it was dropped

    go to apple.com

    ask for a replacement

    send in

    recieve new one

    that should fix the problem
