That's the RROD man. Red ring of death.
Google it.
Try to unplug and plug in your Xbox and turn it on again. If the RROD is still present, then you'll need to send it back.
Microsoft extended the warranty from 2006 360's to 3 years because of the problem. It has overheated.

u have wats called the "red rings of death", probably what u should do now if check and see if there is still a warranty on it and try and send it back. now if and only if there is no warranty on it take the back off and open the console up and unplug all the wires u can find and just let it sit for 5 min. or so then plug them back in and try it and if that doesnt work ur just s.o.l.

if it's 3 flashing lights, then your xbox has crapped out, and you need to send it to microsoft. if it's 4 lights, then it's a hard drive problem, and not serious. take the hard drive out and turn your system on, let it run for a couple minutes and see if the problem happens again. after a little bit, put your hard drive back in. let it run and see what happens.
