    Believe me,if you were having one you'd be in extreme pain on the right side.Because your gallbladder lays almost under the liver and by the pancreas it has to be diagnosed by one of several tests that either your doctor or the ER doctor would order.You can live without it if they have to take it out but you'd have to watch your carbs.It might also be gallstones but in either case get it checked out.

    It feels like chest pain, back pain, sweating, AWFUL. I had mine out a few years ago and the attacks were enough to bring me to my knees. They are worse at night and better if you sit up in a recliner and avoid fatty foods.

    For me it was like a stabbing pain on and off in the upper right side of my abdomen. Especially after I ate a fatty meal.
