Is it weird, a senior dating a freshman?
I am a freshman girl and i like a senior guy. my parents know him and stuff and he's really nice and not to mention cute :) but do you think its too big of an age gap? he's 17 and im 14, but i look like im 16... he wouldn't be the kind of guy to just use me. he's actaully nice. but he still doesnt know i like him. and i have liked him for about a year. do you think its worth telling him? do u think anything could ever happen, or should i just not waste my time? tell me what you think i should do! no mean answers. thanks : )
people who are saying not to tell him because he hasnt shown intrest, thats not true. i just actaully started to realized that i liked him more. and i wouldnt be a booty call either. he knows me and i know him...
and its not that he cant get a girl in his class. he just may actually like me for me.
and i already know that we arent gonna like go out forever. he's gonna graduate, duh. i dont mind.

One of my best friends went out with a senior last year.
It didn't work out, but thats because they had their probalems.
It lasted almost 5 months though.
And another one of my best friends, whos a sophmore, is going out with a senior.
Its really not that much of an age gap, hes 18 and shes 15.
But if you think about it thats like nothing, my parents are 5 years apart.
It's just because your in high school, so it may seem weird. I think you should go for it, at least tell him how you feel.
I totally think you might have a shot because most seniors wouldn't waste their time with a freshie if they weren't cool, or if they didn't like you.
Just make sure he's ok, and not like weird or anything.
haha. Good luck. <3

I wouldn't think that dating a senior when your a freshman, its more of a rare situation.Age doesn't even matter, its the love and the great relationship you have together matters.if you think he treats you right and he wouldn't be the kind to use you, then go for it Girl!!!! and yes its a big gap between age,but you shouldn't care, its all about the person who like or love. And yes you should tell him your true feelings to him, and yes there is a possibility that you might end up dating him, and its so not a waste of your time.If you have a chance for love, i advice you to take that chance.Don't ever let those chances go

This is a common problem for high-school kids.
Unless you don't mind a short-term relationship, you should look for someone in your own class, or maybe a grade above or below you at the most.
See, when he goes off to college/the military/whatever, he'll be living on his own for the first time ever and he will stick his dick into anything that he can.

To tell you the truth, it isn't going ot last. Most girls who are freshmen don't know what exactly they like. Perhaps you should experiment on him and see if it is meant to be. But take my word of honor:
If he can't get a girl in his own class, then he must be pretty desperate and you might want to be careful as the age will become al legal problem for you both.

honestly it is a big age difference and u'd have to REALLY know him because he could be using you.
but i dont find it wierd at all. ive seen plenty seniors go out with freshmen.
If anything i'd tell him i liked him if i were you. Just so you can make things move faster, cause if its been a year and he still hasnt made a move, then u have too.
goodluck (:

i agree with the person who answered first. He will graduate, and it will suck A LOT when he leaves! And dont tell him unless you think he might like you. Make sure you guys aren't just friends, make sure you guys are a little more than that before you actually tell him,

Don't go out with him.
If you end up going to the same college as him, then you can go out.
But for now, NO.
Just think... do you REALLY want to do that to him? Sure, YOU may be cool for dating a senior, but the seniors are gonna think he's a loser and pick on him.
Don't do that to him.

No it is not weird and sometimes it is better, because guys mature later than girls and he would be more mature mentally. It would actually be nice. SO go ahead and tell him and don't be mad if he says no.

That's a little weird. Not totally unacceptable or uncommon. But kinda creepy/ inappropriate.
